Hi, I’m Paula.  Nick and I moved to this beautiful 16th century timber framed house with a Victorian extension when our children were young.  We spent an exciting three years doing the house up to make a comfortable home.  We love the country location, with wonderful views from every window and yet we are so close to York and the attractive Georgian market town of Easingwold. We enjoy gardening, and walking with our dogs who guests will see sunbathing on sunny days!

We decided to share this wonderful location with guests when our children left home and created the cottage in the Victorian extension. We very much enjoy hosting and making guests welcome and generally meeting new people.  While we aim to be at hand for queries and to offer advice, guests have their own front door and a secluded sunny courtyard garden for their private use.
